Its contest time again here at Ninjalane and we have partnered up with Lamptron a premiere designer and developer of high performance computer peripherals.
For this contest we will be asking you to come up with a creative solution to a common problem and the winner with the “best” idea will walk way with 2 high quality products direct from Lamptron
To enter simply follow the instructions found in Ninjalane Message Forum.
Its not very often that we dedicate an entire article to preview a product but the DFI X48 has been a very long awaited and culminates several months of tweaking and rework to bring the best performance and tuning to the Intel X48 chipset.
An alternative solution would be to install a set of carrying handles, and the hardware store special just won’t do. So we’ll look towards the modding community for a stylish solution and Lamptron has just the thing.
Our final coverage of Computex doesn't deal with computers or any of the meetings we had but rather the underlying show of booth babes hired to help out. Some promote the company by handing out flyers while others help make sure things run smoothly around the booth. Regardless they are a nice addition and give us something to talk about.

This is some good news!
Though you have to wonder, will the cards still be red? ![]()
Graphics card vendor Gainward, previously an exclusive AIB partner of Nvidia, has begun working with AMD and will launch ATI Radeon HD GPU-based products soon, according to market sources.
Initially Gainward plans to launch Radeon HD 4850 and 4870-series products, and will follow HD 3800-series cards later, the sources said.
Gainward's decision to launch ATI Radeon HD products indicates that the market for AMD graphics chips is good and more traditionally Nvidia only vendors may follow suit, market watchers commented. Whether Nvidia decides to try and woo partners back with reduced pricing or other incentives bears further observation, the watchers noted.

This hits close to home, being a stock holder and all. However this is hardly unexpected. In fact given how many companies have "jumped ship" and started producting ATI cards its no wonder.
The company also said it plans to take a charge of $150 million to $200 million during the quarter to cover anticipated warranty, replacement and other costs related to certain defective prior-generation products used in notebook computers.
Shares of Nvidia (NVDA) sank 20.9%, to $14.27, in after-hours trading. The stock had closed down 72 cents at $18.03.
We can only hope for a quick rebound, at which point buy early and buy often.
